Letters from the Trailāļø
Spring, 2026
March has been that wild in-between season! Some days there's mud on the boots, sunshine in the sky and a warm breeze flowing through the trees. Next there's a snow storm! Ah Spring in KY - where we can have all the seasons in 1 day, haha!!Ā
With that said, it's clear that the trails are starting to wake up again, and honestly same.
Thereās something about this time of year that makes me want to create a little more freely. Less polished, more real. More experimenting, more playing, more figuring things out as I go and letting that be enough.

šØ What Iāve Been Creatingš§¼
This month has been full of paint, laughter, and a little bit of chaos (the good kind).
The paint & sip classes have been such a bright spot lately. Thereās just something magical about watching people walk in unsure and leave with something theyāre genuinely proud of. Weāve had everything from quiet, focused painters to full-on laugh-until-you-snort tables and I love every bit of it!!Ā
Behind the scenes, Iāve also been working on small batch soaps and restocking some favorites. Thereās been a lot of testing, tweaking, and probably overthinking scents just a little. That's just all part of the process and what makes our soaps a little more special!

āŗļøIn the Wild: Markets & Eventsš§¾
Getting back out into vendor spaces has felt really good! We've got some exciting events coming up such as;
- Goatman Race in Louisville, April 18
- Derby Day celebration with our friends at Blackacre May 2nd
- Jefferson Memorial Forest Fest May 16th
- Second Chances Run Wild race June 21st
My favorite part, hands down, is the conversations. People picking up a bar of soap and telling me what it reminds them of, asking about ingredients, sharing their own stories. That connection is the whole reason I started this!
If youāve stopped by my booth recently - THANK YOU!. Truly.

š¼ Seasonal Favoritesš¦
With everything starting to thaw out and come back to life, Iāve been reaching for the grounding, comforting scents a little more.
The earthy, nature-inspired bars have been hitting just right lately, especially anything with those soft herbal notes and warm, cozy undertones. Perfect for washing off a long day (or a muddy hike).
Peak Condition has been on repeat over here. Itās one of those quiet staples that just works; super hydrating, simple, and exactly what your skin needs coming out of winter.

šļø Life Latelyš”
Life outside of Peak Freak has been⦠full.
Work, family, and everything in between, Iāve been squeezing in moments where I can. Whether thatās getting outside for a quick trail run with friends, or just standing in our fields soaking up a little sunshine.
āWhat Farmā is still very much in its early stages, but itās been fun dreaming and slowly bringing that vision to life. Right now itās less āfarmā and more āfiguring it out as we go,ā but honestly, thatās part of the adventure.
Ā
āļøWhatās Coming Next
April is already shaping up to be a busy one in the best way as you can see from our list of events.
More paint & sip classes are on the horizon, more market applications are popping up, and Iāve got a few new ideas brewing that Iām really excited to share soon. Think fresh scents, a little seasonal inspiration, and maybe a few surprises.
